In the field of medical writing, Clariscience can support its clients all the way through the drafting of a scientific manuscript and then its submission for publication.
In the more structured collaboration mode, Clariscience first interacts with the customers and the researchers who produced the data of interest in order to outline the best publication strategy, leading to the selection of a panel of target journals to which the work will be submitted. Subsequently, in discussion with the authors, it outlines a first draft of the manuscript in points. Once this is discussed and approved, the full version of the paper is written, already in accordance with the editorial standards of the target journal, and directly in English if the journal is of international calibre. The first complete draft is discussed with the authors to arrive at an approved version of the manuscript. This, if in English, is reviewed by a native speaker before submission. Once this version has also been approved, Clariscience proceeds, on behalf of the Author, to the submission – the progress of which it then constantly monitors. Should the reviewers request changes to the writing, Clariscience, in consultation with the authors, proceeds with their implementation. In the event of a refusal, Clariscience makes at least two further submissions to as many target journals. The service concludes with the verification of print proofs and, finally, the correct indexing of the publication in search engines.
Clariscience can also be of help in individual steps of the process just described; for example, in the identification of target journals only, in language revision only, or otherwise.
